Emmanuel E-Bright is the Founder and Co-ordinator of The Afro-Fusion Project (TAF Project) - an infusive fashion, art, culture and publishing brand established to promote and integrate works of African heritage with global possibilities. The Nigerian-born, Cross-Cultural Creator through his simple yet unique and dynamically inclusive pieces/projects, inspires and advances borderless ideals and messages that bridge cultural divides, deepen identity and promote self awareness.
He is also the mind behind Emmagination Clotheium and Uniform Us. The award-winning creator's designs have been doned by multinational brands like Rotary International, MTN, Change. Org, Acumen West Africa, PhytoScience, GTBank, Platforms Africa, Signal Alliance and RIDA just to mention a few. He has also received accolades for projects like Runway in the Slum, Third Mainland Motherland and Fashion Feeds Children.
E-Bright's Journalism and Human Capital Development background fitly interplays with his art and fashion adroitness. He is among a new crop of Africans who in the words of the United States Institute of Peace "are increasingly using the arts to re-imagine their world and reclaim public space to reflect on what a more peaceful and prosperous Africa could look like".
He is a recipient of the Award for Creativity from Ahmadu Bello University's Business School, Zaria, Nigeria. He is also a proud Winner of the Versiedag Championship which held in the United Arab Emirates. E-Bright is the Author of the fast-selling book "50 Business Lessons from the Streets of Lagos" and the branding manual "How to Dodge A Stray Bullet".
Owachi Brenda
OWACHI BRENDA is an Advocate of our Fashion Community Engagement and Support Project (FACES). The Ugandan-born fashion designer and versatile creator is the Founder and Creative Director at B-threads Coutures, a Uganda based fashion brand with a mission to use fashion and design as a therapeutic tool for lighting up the lives of it's clients and community. The pan-africanist and proudly Zombo indegene strongly believes that fashion is an effortlessly unifying factor within a continuous diversity of cultures. As such, she is compelled to explore different cultures and their unique sense of fashion and heritage.
The fashion therapist is thrilled to network with some of the greatest creative minds in Africa and beyond, supporting a growing network of fashion designers and crafts persons who seek to grow their trade and promote their community. She shares her worldview of African Culture and it's functionality through FACES, a community trade support initiative of THE AFRO FUSION PROJECT.
Esta Zakka
Meet Esta Zakka, a passionate advocate for African culture and fashion, armed with a Master's Degree in Human Relations Management from the United Kingdom. Her love for Africa and its people drives her to curate exceptional African collections that resonate with diverse demographics, particularly in the corporate sphere. Two core themes underpin her work: Freedom and Affordable Elegance.
Esta's vision is to see more people embracing African attire, led her to establish SWAT Fashion - a dynamic African clothing brand. Additionally, she serves as Assistant Lead at PROJECT 1000 AFRICA, our volunteer business development program dedicated to empowering 1000 low-income tailors and shoemakers across four African countries with the skills to scale their businesses within two years.
Outside of work, Esta tends to her garden and poultry, nurturing her endless passion for growth and beauty.
